Check-In & Pick up of Day-Campers
Day campers will be mixed in with overnight campers, though they may not have their own bunk (unless one is open). The schedule for day campers is:
- Drop off daily around 8:00am in the Dining Hall (during their groups breakfast time, except for registration day), where counselors will meet them.
- Pick-up in the evening is 8:30pm in the Tabernacle, as soon as the evening activity is finished. Some evening activities will run a little later, but please still meet in the Tabernacle.
Packing List
- Bedding (including pillow)
- Toiletries like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste/tooth brush, and towels.
- Bible and pencil
- Small notebook
- Modest play clothes and shoes you can run in.
- Modest swimwear (girls should have one-piece)
- Sunscreen/Bug spray
- Optional: a small bag to carry around Bible, water bottle, pencil, notebook, etc.
- Note that electronics should be left at home. If electronics/phones are brought, they will be stored in the office and returned after camp.
Camp Snacks
- Snack Shop funds are included in camp cost!
- Kids are well fed with relatively healthy camp food. However, kids LOVE the camp snack shop, where they can buy ice cream, candy, and water. Pricing is very reasonable at the snack shop.
- We know that kids get hungry running around all day, so each night after the evening activity we offer all kids a light snack before going to bed.

General Tips
Things TO DO:
Things to NOT DO:
- Tell your child about your memories from camp, if you had any.
- Tell your child that this will be an amazing week, and by giving these four days their best, they will build memories for a lifetime.
- Tell them if they are homesick, to write you a letter. Send an envelope addressed to you with a stamp and paper and we can mail it to you.
- Send mail for delivery throughout the week. (See above for how to send mail).
Things to NOT DO:
- Send electronics along with your child.
- Tell your child they can call if they're homesick. (This ALWAYS makes the homesickness worse).
- Tell your child that they can come home if they don't like it.
- Pack medications for your child. These should always be given to the camp nurse for dispensation.
